AIA Vietnam opens three general agency offices
From August 1 and 3, AIA Vietnam Life Insurance Company Limited (“AIA Vietnam”) officially opened three general agency offices in Hanoi, and northern Bac Giang and Hung Yen provinces.
So, while at the same time investing inbuilding customer-service centers in several provinces across Vietnam, the company continues to develop and expand its service network to better satisfy customers’ needs through its general agency office system.
This expansion plays an important role in AIA Vietnam’s sustainable development strategy as it offers more convenience to customers in approaching life insurance products and services.
“The general agency offices are one of the crucial links helping AIA Vietnam bring timely and efficient services to customers and agents in different locations. Besides, by establishing these offices, we would like to create more jobs to local residents who will have the opportunities to join AIA Vietnam’s professional agency force,” said AIA Vietnam’s CEO Stephen Clark.
With these three general agency offices starting operation, AIA Vietnam’s current operational network comprises over 70 offices throughout the country. Parallel to constantly improve the service quality, the company has been introducing new products in order to better meet customer’s increasing and diversified needs.
On this occasion, AIA Vietnam granted hundreds of scholarships and sport equipments worth of VND90 million to help needy and studious pupils in these three locations with better conditions to study and exercise.
AIA Vietnam is a 100 per cent foreign-owned life insurer and a member of the AIA Group, the largest independent publicly listed pan-Asian life insurance group in the world. AIA Vietnam officially started operations in Vietnam in February 2000.
Over the last 12 years, AIA Vietnam has been focusing on laying a strong foundation for its sustainable growth through the training and development of its human resources with more than 500 staff members and about 16,000 agents.
Today, 12 years after its inception, AIA Vietnam has grown to be a trusted brand in Vietnam. AIA Vietnam serves the holders of over 300,000 policies across the country. Until the end of June 2012, AIA has paid out a total of more than VND1,000 billion for insurance benefits to over 151,000 cases.
