VTO: Explanation for business result in Q1.2012

Viet Nam Tanker Joint Stock Company has explained business result in Quarter 1.2012 as follows:

-         The company’s revenue decreased VND6 billion or 1.52% compared to Quarter 1.2011, in which revenue from service decreased sharply VND17.2 billion or 6.15% compared to the same period of last year. Mainly because in Quarter 1.2012 transport charge was lower than the same period of last year. Besides input expenses in 2012: fuels, oils, lubricants increased   leading to cost of goods sold increased 11.2% compared to the same period of last year. The company’s profit after tax decreased 34.22%.
