Vinh Long Cereal And Food Import Export Company has announced explanation for business result in quarter 2/2012 decreased 17.29% compared to Quarter 2/2011 as follows:

Selling
prices increased 14.92% but the average export prices I Quarter 2.2012
decreased USD26.78/ton or 5.87%, revenue only increased slightly 0.37% compared
to Quarter 2.2011. Reason: the situation general of rice market, high input
cost. Gross profit fell 33.41% compared to the same period of last year.

Financial
expense fell 31.12% because lower interest, selling expense decreased 16.31%.
Profit before tax in Quarter 2.2012 also decreased 949,026,155 dongs or 24.16%.
