to Quarter 1/2011, profit before tax in Quarter 1/2012 decreased VND1,710,983,527
(or 49.4%) because: 1. Total
income decreased by VND853,308,571 (1.8%), including:
- Net
income decreased by VND722,101,593 (1.6%)
- Financial
income decreased by VND275,494,978 (64.4%)
- Other
income increased by VND144,288,000
2. Total
expenses increased by VND1,366,350,608 (3.3%), including:
- Cost
of goods sold decreased by VND2,673,990,835 (8.2%)
- Administrative
expense increased by VND116,444,138 (4.4%)
- Financial
expense increased VND3,948,031,525 (62.1%)
- Other
expenses decreased VND24,134,220
3. Total
profit before tax decreased VND1,710,983,527 (49.4%). The
Company has many difficulties in finance such as increase in bank interest
rate, financial cost. TV1 has intensified spending administration, decreased
ineffective expenses, saved materials, especially decreased administrative
expense. Therefore, despite input prices were up and financial cost also rose
VND3,948,031,525 (62.1%) , but profit decreased compared to the same period of
last year.
