Its output is 100,000 cu.m. a year, of which 5,000 cu.m., or 5 per cent, is for the domestic market, while 95 per cent is exported to markets overseas, mainly the Philippines . Ethanol is used to produce the biofuel E5, which is used in internal combustion engines such as motorcycles and cars.
