SHN: Information on Nguyen Anh Quan’s debt
Hanoi Investment General Corporation (HANIC) announces information on Nguyen Anh Quan’s debt as follows:
On 21/01/2011, the BOD of SHN disclosed Resolution No. 02/NQ-HĐQT/2011 on cooperating with BETA JSC – Ministry of Defense to invest in Thanh Ha A –Cienco 5 town.
To implement the Resolution, SHN signed capital borrowing contract No. 111-11/HĐVV/SHN-BETA with BETA on 27/01/2011. On 22/03/2011, SHN continued to sign cooperation contract No. 22/2011/HĐQT/BETA-HANIC with BETA.
On 14/06/2011, BETA JSC –Ministry of Defense announced termination of the contracts. BETA JSC committed to refund SHN’ capital with interest and pay penalty for violation of the contract. BETA JSC –Ministry of Defense transferred the BETA’s debt to Mr. Nguyen Anh Quan, General Manager of BETA JSC. Total receivables of SHN from BETA as of 31/12/2011 are VND 349,049,225,546 of which:
- Value of the two contracts: VND 238,000,000,000
- Penalty for violation of the contracts: VND 34,171,061,215
- Accrued interest: VND 41,878,164,331
HANIC Company offered BETA JSC and Mr. Nguyen Anh Quan to refund the above money however, as yet the Company didn’t receive responses of BETA JSC and Mr. Nguyen Anh Quan.
