FDG: Explanation for business result in Q4/2011

Dongthap Trading Corporation (Docimexco) has explained the fluctuation in profit between Quarter 4/2011 and Quarter 4/2010 according to Docimexco’s consolidated financial statements:

- Loss after tax in Quarter 4/2010: VND14,706,665,831

- Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2011: VND3,843,034,672

Reason:

- The ratio of Cost of goods sold to Revenue in Quarter 4/2011 was higher than Quarter 4/2010, so the gross profit in Quarter 4/2011 increased VND45,352,117,844 compared to the same period of 2010.

- Besides, the selling expense in Quarter 4/2011 decreased VND1.5 billion and General & administrative expenses in Quarter 4/2011 went down over VND5.3 billion.
