Domestic businesses aim to penetrate EU market

A seminar entitled “Germany: Gateway for Vietnamese Businesses to Penetrate the EU Market” was held in An Giang province on March 30 to introduce the Vietnamese Product Centre in Berlin.

The seminar was organized by the An Giang provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the Southern Airport Services Corporation (SASCO) and the Vietnam Culture, Tourism, Investment and Trade Promotion Centre in Berlin (VIETHAUS).

SASCO experts and representatives from the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed the current German market and ways products from An Giang can access the market.

They also introduced assistance services for Vietnamese businesses to expand into the German and EU markets, particularly with rice, frozen seafood, fruit and vegetables, footwear, garments and handicrafts.

The seminar provided an opportunity for An Giang businesses and agencies to devise plans to approach the German market.
