VST: Vitranschart builds new bulk carriers

To implement the government program of receiving 20 ships which have been built incompletely in factories belonging to Vinashin of Vinalines, Vietnam Sea Transport and Chartering JSC (HOSE: VST) decided to buy and improve one bulk carrier with a capacity of 56,200 DWT (Will be transferred in December 2012) built in Nam Trieu Shipbuilding Industry Corporation and two 17,500-DWT ships, including SS11 (Will be transferred in December 2011) and SS12 (Will be transferred in December 2012) built in Bach Dang Shipbuilding Industry Corporation

The investment in the three ships will help VST to maintain the total capacity of ship team and improve its ship team, as well as support export enterprises to expand markets.
