Sài Gòn Machinery Spare Parts JSC (HOSE: SMA) explained the difference in profit after tax in QIII/2011 and Quarter 2/2010:

• Profit after tax in QIII/2010: VND4,715,170,302

• Profit after tax in QIII/2011: VND2,319,299,475

• Profit after tax in QIII/2011 decreased 50.8% from QIII/2010 mainly because of interest expenses increased 48.12% compared with QIII/2010:

• Interest expenses in QIII/2010: VND2,880,884,878

• Interest expenses in QIII/2011: VND5,552,951,685.
