High-grade gold value found in Ratanakkiri
Angkor Gold Corp, a Canada-based mining company, has announced promising results from exploration drilling which showed the presence of gold, silver and copper at a Ratanakkiri province mine.
The results from two 300-metre holes at the company’s site in the province’s Banlung district showed high-grade gold value, according to a company statement.
Exploration at the site was in its initial stages and the thickness of drill samples could not be assessed with certainty, the announcement noted. The company claims to have three exploration licenses covering some 1,500 square kilometers in the Kingdom.
