HBB wins South East Asia CIO Awards 2011
Mr. Cao Ba Thuy - Habubank’s Information Technology Head - won South East Asia Chief Information Officer Awards 2011 (CIO Awards 2011) for his practical initiatives for the Bank’s development.
Mr. Thuy was among the 12 most outstanding candidates in South East Asia winning this year’s prizes. The CIO Awards was created in 2005 under International Digital Group’s initiative which aims at honouring CIOs with innovative and distinct contribution to the effective operations of their enterprises.
Criteria for CIO Awards 2011 were not only technical evaluation regarding programs, systems and projects successfully developed by the CIOs but also their strategic visions and creativity in the long term.
Over the past years, advanced and modern information technology solutions to enhance the whole Bank’s efficient operations have continuously been applied in Habubank. The Bank has focused on completing and expanding software application in management activities including new systems for credit scoring, market risk management and transfer pricing, document archiving, asset management, human resources and shareholders’ information management.
