BIDV becomes state – owned liability limited company

The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No.1974/QĐ-NHNN on September 1st , 2011 to change the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) into a state – owned liability limited company with charter capital of VND 23,962,315,000,000.

This company (BIDV in short) has the legal status in line with the Vietnamese law, and operates in accordance with the Law on Credit Institutions, other relevant legal texts and its Charter. The SBV represents the state ownership in BI DV. The Chairman and other members of the Board of Directors are representatives as assigned by the SBV to undertake the rights and obligations of the owner in compliance with law.

BIDV is responsible for completing all the procedures to become a state-owned liability limited company in accordance with Decree No.25/2010/ND-CP of the Government dated March 19, 2010 and other relevant legal texts.
