SED: QII-2011 Operating result explanation

According to the Financial Statement QII-2011, profit after tax is VND 15,311,417,920 with an increase of VND 13,121,576,053 (20%) compared to Quarter II/2010. Phuong Nam Education Investment and Development JSC (HNX: SED) explained the increase in operating result in QII-2011 as follows:

Gross sales of merchandise is VND 141,159,256,019 with an increase of VND 107,488,565,525 (31%) compared to Quarter II/2010. This makes the increase of the profit before tax is VND 20,415,223,981, 20% higher in compare to QII-2010 (VND 17,012,072,470).
