Gold prices close to VND41 million/tael
Domestic gold prices have gone up by VND700,000/tael after the world gold hit a new record of US$1,661 per ounce on August 2.
In Ho Chi Minh City, gold prices were listed at 9.10am on August 3 as followed:
Gold prices in Hanoi rose to VND40.82 million/tael, VND20,000/tael higher than in HCM City.
The State Bank of Vietnam announced that the inter-bank exchange rate remained at VND20,608 per US dollar.
