BCEL helps payers better pay for electric bills
The Bank Pour Le Commerce Exterieur Lao (BCEL) signed an agreement with the Elecitricite du Lao (EDL) last Thursday, August 4 beginning its service of electric bill paying.
According to the agreement, individuals, companies and organisations can pay their electric bills via the Bank through its financial products and service such as ATM cards and mobile banking which will help bill payers gain a larger access to electric bill payment.
Signatories to the document were Mr. Khammany Inthilath, Director of EDL and Mr. Sonesay Sitphasay, Director of BCEL. The signing was witnessed by Deputy Head of Bank of Lao PDR, Mr. Bounsong Sommalavong and relevant officials of both parties.
