Commercial banks required to report their mobilizing and lending interest rates

In order to ensure the collection of accurate and timely statistics on mobilizing and lending interest rates for better monetary policy management, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Document No. 5232/NHNN-CSTT on July 7, 2011 to require domestic credit institutions and foreign bank branches to make mobilizing and lending interest rate reports.

Accordingly, SBV requires credit institutions and foreign bank branches to submit all the documents, which regulate (adjust) the mobilizing and lending interest rates, right after their issuance.

The mobilizing and lending interest rates should be listed and reported in compliance with Circular No.21/2010/TT-NHNN dated October 8, 2010 and Circular No.12/2010/TT-NHNN dated April 14, 2010.
