Vietnam raises 2011 inflation target, cuts growth

The Vietnamese government has raised its annual inflation target to 15 percent for this year from 11.75 percent earlier and cut the economic growth to 6 percent from 6.5 percent set last month, it said in a statement on Friday.

The government has requested all ministries and related agencies to focus on the implementation of measures to control inflation and ensure the economic growth, the statement said.
