Hải Phong – Đa Nang flight route established
Vietnam Airlines officially opened the Hai Phong – Đa Nang route on Apr. 28 from Cat Bi International Airport in the northern city of Hai Phong.
Cat Bi Airport currently serves six flights per day, but under a Government master plan, it will be upgraded from 2015-2025 to a capacity of 11 planes and 1,440 passengers per hour during peak periods, and 82,000 tonnes of goods per year.
It is hoped the airport will enhance economic development between Hải Phing and Đà Nẵng, connecting the triangle between Ha Noi- Hai Phong- Da Nang as well as Central Vietnam.
