MHB changed into state – owned liability limited company

The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No.689/QĐ-NHNN on March 31, 2011 to change the State-Owned Commercial Housing Bank of Mekong Delta (MHB) into a state-owned liability limited company with charter capital of VND 3,055,552,043,025.

This company (MHB in short)  has the legal status in line with Vietnamese law, and operates in accordance with the Law on Credit Institutions, other relevant legal texts and its Charter. Its managerial structure includes the Board of Directors, the Control Board and the General Director. The SBV represents the state ownership in MHB. The Chairman and members of the Board of Directors are representatives as assigned by the SBV to undertake the rights and obligations of the owner in line with law.

This Decision took effect on the date of signing. MHB is responsible for completing all the procedures to become a state-owned liability limited company in accordance with Decree No.25/2010/ND-CP of the Government dated March 19, 2010 and other relevant legal texts.
