PGC: Explanation for business result in Quarter 4/2010

Petrolimex Gas Joint Stock Company (HOSE: PGC) explained the fluctuation in Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2010 and Quarter 4/2009:

• Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2009 (Company benefit): VND9,283,742,994

• Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2010 (Company benefit): VND12,968,978,574

Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2010 increased VND3,685,235,580 (Equivalent to 39.7%) compared to Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2009 because Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2009 was been affected from the foreign exchange difference (the Government increased the foreign exchange rate in November 2009).
