Official notice on some changes in UPCoM trading regulations
The HNX would like to inform some changes in trading regulations on UPCoM as follows:
On 24/03/2011, the HNX’s CEO signed Decision No.131/QĐ-SGDHN on the amendment and supplement of some trading regulations on UPCoM.
1. Change in Collar:
- Collar applied to newly registered stocks on the first trading day and collar applied to stocks without trading for over 25 sessions on the re-trading day is ±40% compared to reference price.
2. Change in reference price:
2.1 The reference price of newly registered stocks on the first trading day is calculated as follows:
Reference price applied to newly listed stocks on the first trading day will be proposed by the trading registration company and approved by the HNX.
2.2 In case of newly registered stocks, on the first trading day, the HNX only receives orders via the continuous order matching method. The HNX does not receive orders via negotiation until the reference price is defined based on the trading results via the continuous order matching.
2.3 In case of stock transactions without devidend or accompanied rights, the reference price in the ex-right date is specified on the basis of weighted average of all prices via continuous order matching method of the most recent trading day with adjustment according to the value of dividend received or value of accompanied rights, except in the following cases:
a) The trading registration company issues convertible bonds;
b) The trading registration company issues additional shares with the issue price higher than the average price of the trading day previous to the ex-right date.
3. Effective date: April 4, 2011.
