API: Explanation for the change of over 5% in operating result in QIV- 2010

According to the Financial Statement Quarter IV/2010, net profit after tax increased by VND 48,661,751,555 compared to Quarter IV/2009. APEC Investment., Joint Stock Company (HNX: API) explained the increase in net profit after tax in QIV/ 2010 as follows:

- Profit from other activities of Quarter IV/2010 increased by VND 26,778,806,542 compared to Quarter IV/2009 because the Company recognized the Income of VND 26,778,806,542 due to revaluation difference of assets that was contributed as capital to other enterprise.

- In Quarter IV/2010, Gross profit from sale of merchandise and services increased by VND 27,367,118,411 compared to Quarter IV/2009 due to following reasons: Investment plans of Real estate in 2009 in general and in Quarter IV/2009 in particular were being in a developmental stage and so on still do not create income. In 2010, the Company began strongly to invest into some plans which may bring back Commercial efficiency and from Quarter IV/2010, these plans brought back both revenue and high profit.
