AGL looks to the next twenty years

Building on its success over the last twenty years, Allianz General Laos (AGL) will soon be offering insurance services for all individuals and corporations across Laos.

AGL officials yesterday began organising summaries of the services offered by each branch nationwide.

The meeting was organised under the slogan “Twenty years as Leader”, which is a reference to the company's success in being the nation's leading provider of insurance services for the past 20 years.

AGL is today the nation's leading provider of insurance products tailored to service the specific needs and demands of both individual and corporate clients.

The meeting was attended by AGL Director Mr. Guy Apovy and Deputy Director Mr. Holady Volarath.

The 2010 revenue of AGL rose more than 25 percent on 2009 figures, according to a report at the meeting.

As the leading insurance provider, car and property policies account for approximately 80 percent of revenue.

The meeting also summarised progress of company projects and discussed the progress of their implementation.

Officials from AGL also discussed and shared ideas on how to solve problems and obstacles preventing insurance products from being more transparent and convenient for clients.

Previously, AGL has launched successful projects into its business including linking its sales office with headquarters using an information technology system and the introduction of the AGL Worry Free Driving Motor Insurance.

The meeting also awarded prizes to the top salespersons in the company.

AGL is a joint venture between the Lao government and Allianz International which is a member of Allianz group - one of the world's biggest insurance companies.
