HHC: Explanation for the change of over 5% in operating result in QIV- 2010

According to the Financial Statement Quarter IV/2010, net income decreased 18.5% compared to Quarter IV/2009. Haiha Confectionery Joint Stock Company (HNX: HHC) explained the decrease in operating result in QIV/ 2010 as follows:

- The price of raw materials went up, meanwhile the price of confectionery has increased insignificantly due to fierce competition, therefore business efficiency is low. Specifically, revenue from the sales of products and services is VND 177,844,720,445 (+20.8% compared to Quarter IV/2009), however, profit after tax has decreased 18.5% compared to Quarter IV/2009.

- However, the company has achived its operating plan of 2010.
