LSX composite index continues to rise
The LSX index momentum continues to edge closer to the 1600 mark and yesterday the index was up a total of 52.6 percent since the exchange opened, closing at 1525.92.
In assessing the LSX exchange to date, the regional exchange leader has averaged a remarkable 3.71 percent daily gain.
The market impetus is still strong and gaining as Wednesday's volumes were 7 percent higher than the previous day.
In just 12 short trading days 3.1 million shares have traded sturdily for 33.3 billion kip, surpassing everyone's expectations at US$4.03 million.
BCEL stock has both resilience and appeal for investors. On Wednesday it was up a striking 166 percent since listing at 13,300 kip (US$1.65). Volume trading was quite strong, but yesterday's trading value stood out at 3.38 billion kip (US$421,703) or a very bullish 188 percent above the daily average. That indicates the stock has a long way to go before it meets any price resistance. On that performance it rates as a strong buy. The rate on Monday increased by 500 kip to 12,100 kip and on Tuesday and Wednesday rose by 600 each per day to 12,700 kip.
EDL-Gen up 63 percent since listing this stock is very consistently gaining. Nearly 2 million shares have been traded so far and there are great growth prospects. In fundamentals there is no other rating than a bullish buy. Since Monday the share price has increased by 900 kip closing strongly at 7,000 kip.
