Branches, transaction offices and new banking services launched in January

It is reported by the Vietnam Banks Association that 38 branches and transaction offices have come into being across the nation in January as follows:

The Binh Phuoc branch of the Nam A Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (NamA Bank) opened the Phuoc Binh transaction office in the province of Binh Phuoc on January 4.

The Dong Da branch of the Vietnam Joint-Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) opened the Dang Van Ngu transaction office in Hanoi on January 5.

The Bac Ninh branch of the Vietnam Prosperity Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) opened its second transaction office in the province of Bac Ninh on January 5.

The Phuong Nam Joint-Stock Commercial Bank opened the Ben Tre transaction office in the province of Ben Tre on January 5.

The Cau Giay branch of the Bac A Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (BacA Bank) opened the Tran Binh transaction office on January 5, bringing the total number of transaction points of this bank up to 59 nationwide.

The Le Chan branch of the Hanoi Building Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (Habubank) opened the Kien An savings fund in the north eastern port city of Hai Phong on Jan. 5.

The Asia Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (ACB) opened the Duc Trong transaction office in the province of Lam Dong on January 6. It is ACB’s 281st entity in its national network and the second one in the province of Lam Dong.

VietinBank officially opened the Vietinbank Fund Management Company, Ltd (Vietinbank Capital) on January 10.

Hochiminh City Branch No.2 of the Vietinbank opened  transaction office No.1 on January 10.

The Tien phong Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (Tienphongbank) opened a branch in the province of Dong Nai.

The Can Tho branch of the Viet A Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (VietA Bank) opened the Cai Rang transaction office in the City of Can Tho on January 11. This bank has maintained 77 transaction points nationwide up to now.

The Hanoi branch of the Dai A Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (Dai A Bank) opened the Tran Duy Hung transaction officeas the 11th transaction point in Hanoi and the 54th transaction point in its national network on January 11.

The Western Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (Western Bank) opened the Truong Chinh transaction office in Ho Chi Minh City on January 11.

The Vietnam International Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (VIB) opened a branch in Hai Phong  on January 11.

The Thanh Xuan branch of the Vietinbank in coordination with the Vietinbank Securities Company opened a banking – securities transaction office on January 12.

The ACB opened a transaction office in the province of Nghe An on January 14.

The Sai Gon Thuong Tin Bank Securities Company (Sacombank–SBS) opened its affiliate in Cambodia under the name of the Sacombank Securities Cambodia Public Ltd. Co (SBS-Cambodia). It is the first Vietnamese securities company allowed to operate in Cambodia.

The Great Trust Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (TRUSTBank) launched a branch in the southernmost province of Ca Mau on January 19.

The Tan Dinh branch of the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) opened a transaction office in Ho Chi Minh City on January 19.

The SBV Governor issued a Decision to allow the Vietnam ANZ bank, Ltd (ANZ Bank) to provide pilot services of bill payment via phone to individual customers.

The An Binh Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (ABB) opened branches in the provinces of Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Binh Phuoc, Quang Nam, Tien Giang, Tay Ninh, An Giang, Binh Thuan and Kien Giang on January 25.

The Military Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (MB) opened branches in the provinces of Quang Tri, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen and Quang Nam on January 29.

The Vietnam International Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (VIB) opened branches in the provinces of Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Tay Ninh, Lam Dong, Dong Thap and Ca Mau on January 29.
