Vietnam-Laos trade fair to open

The Vietnamese-Lao trade fair opened in Pakse town on November 26, drawing participation from businesses in seven of Vietnams south-central provinces and in four of southern Lao provinces.

Businesses will also take part in the next Vietnamese-Lao trade fair in Vientiane, which was scheduled for December 1-5, showcasing 180 Vietnamese booths and 200 Lao booths.

Vietnams Ministry of Industry and Trade will appoint a delegation to Laos on the occasion for an e-commerce training course with the aim of promoting cooperation between the two countries in the business field.

The fairs are part of the celebration of the 35th Lao National Day, 2 December.
