HPG: Information on business results in 10 months 2010
Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company (Hoa Phat Group) (HOSE: HPG) has announced business results in 10 months 2010 at nearly 1,100 billion dongs of profit after tax as follows:
• Up to October 2010, profit after tax reached 1,081 billion dongs (80% of the plan) and in October was 121 billion dongs. Beside, revenue in October was 1,325 billion dongs. Accumulated revenue in 10 months was 11,257 billion dongs (91% of the plan).
• The quarter 4 every year is the good season of Hoa Phat Group and the factories have run nearly 100% of capacity. In October, a factory of laminating steel produced 26,000 tons of finished steel (44% of total production of Hoa Phat Group). In October, Hoa Phat Group reached 59,438 tons of production (increased 213.8% beside the same period of last year and 166.3% beside last month). For the results, Hoa Phat Group held 12.1% market shares and third place on the steel market.
• In October 2010, People’s Committee of Hung Yen Province approved of Hoa Phat Group’s construction plan about Lot A, Urban Area of North Highway No. 5 under Pho Noi Urban Area (300ha wide). The lot A is near 4.5 million m2 area with 4,000 people.
• The project of Pho Noi Urban Area and other project will contribute a great amount into the company’s profit in 2011-2020.
