ACB wins “best domestic bank in Vietnam” award again

The Asian Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) has won the award for “Best domestic bank in Vietnam 2010” from the Hong Kong-based Asset Magazine.

This is the second consecutive time Ho Chi Minh City-based ACB has received the magazine’s award, the first one being in 2009.

The Asset best bank rankings are worked out using a number of quantitative and qualitative indicators including a benchmark survey for its readers and the magazine’s assessment of the bank’s operation in risk and profit management, strategy and business initiatives, and customer service quality.

The magazine has also picked HSBC as the Best Bank 2010 in Vietnam. HSBC took the award in 2008 and 2009.

Earlier this year, ACB banking group has secured awards from world renowned magazines Asiamoney, FinanceAsia, The Asian Banker, and Global Finance.
