VinaCapital buys 10 pct of Vietnam’s major coffee firm
Vietnam’s VinaCapital Group has bought a 10 percent stake in Thai Hoa Vietnam Group Company, one of the country’s top coffee exporters, a Thai Hoa executive said on Tuesday.
The two signed an agreement on the purchase earlier on Tuesday, Chairman and Chief Executive Nguyen Van An of the Hanoi-based Thai Hoa Vietnam said. He, however, declined to disclose the value of the deal.
He also said the company, now with a capitalisation of 550 billion dong ($28.2 million), was finalising listing procedures and would make its share debut on the Hanoi Stock Exchange in December.
