SBV Governor requires implementation of Circulars No.13 and No.19
The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV issued Document No.8353/NHNN-TTGSNH on November 1st to be sent to credit institutions and the SBV municipal and provincial branches on the implementation of Circular No.13/2010/TT-NHNN (Circular No.13) and Circular No.19/2010/TT-NHNN (Circular No.19).
Accordingly, in order to implement Circular No.13 on prudent ratio and Circular No. 19 on amending Circular 13, the SBV Governor requires credit institutions to continue improving their organizational structure, personnel, technological innovation, and internal regulations to ensure strict implementation of the two aforesaid Circulars.
In addition, the SBV Governor also asks the SBV provincial and municipal branches to monitor and manage the implementation by credit institutions in their locations of Circulars No. 13 and No. 19. At the same time, these branches are required to promptly report to the SBV Governor about violations (if any) in the implementation of the aforesaid Circulars. Other SBV branches are also required to monitor the implementation of branches of credit institutions, coordinate and exchange information with the SBV municipal and provincial branches in the locations where credit institutions are headquartered with the aim of ensuring the strict implementation of the aforesaid Circulars by credit institutions.
