20 mil USD factory sets up in Hai Duong

The construction of Vietnam ’s Sumidenso 4 factory kicked off at Nghia An Industrial Zone in Ninh Giang district, Hai Duong province on Nov. 16 th with a total investment capital of 20 million USD.

Sumidenso 4, an affiliate of Sumidenso Vietnam, covers an area of 4.5 ha. It will manufacture cables, electric wires and electronic equipment for electronics and industries. The factory is expected to generate 1,700 jobs when it comes into operation at the end of 2011.

Three out of four factories constructed by Sumidenso Vietnam have been commissioned so far, creating 6,500 jobs for local people.
