Private carrier to fly to Danang, Dalat

Air Mekong is set to introduce flights to Danang and Dalat from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

The private carrier said starting this Sunday it will operate three services daily from HCMC to Danang and one to Dalat.

From Hanoi it will operate one flight daily to both cities.

The carrier now flies from the country’s two premier cities to Phu Quoc, Con Dao, Pleiku, and Buon Me Thuot.

Air Mekong was established last year by the Ha Long Investment and Development Company and is based at Phu Quoc Airport.

It is the third private carrier licensed in Vietnam, the others being the now-suspended Indochina Airlines and VietJet AirAsia.

It has a fleet of four Canadian-made Bombardier CRJ 900 aircraft.
