Boosting ties between Vietnamese and Chinese businesses

Co-operation between The Lao Cai Young Business Association in Vietnam and China’s Honghe Business Federation has achieved significant results in recent years.

The two groups help businesses from the two countries navigate State management agencies and policies, and locate new investment and co-operation opportunities.

In recent years, Lao Cai has sharpened its competitive edge with a more favourable investment environment and policy incentives. It has key economic zones and great potential in mineral, trade, tourism, and services.

The annual Vietnam-China border trade fair provides a good opportunity for businesses from Lao Cai and Yunnan to sign economic contracts.

25 Chinese projects, including 20 from Yunnan, have been initiated in Lao Cai with a combined capital of more than US$249 million.
