1,000 biggest corporate income tax payers announced
Vietnam’s 1,000 biggest corporate income tax payers (V1000) will be made public for the first time on October 22, 2010 in Hanoi.
The corporate income tax paid by the 1,000 businesses from 2007-2009 was equal to 7 per cent of total state budget collections during this period.
The rating is in line with international standards and made by the Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company (VNR), in cooperation with the General Department of Taxation’s Tax Journal and VNR500’s Advisory Council, which consists of independent and prestigious domestic and foreign consultants.
The activity is to acknowledge and honour the contributions made by Vietnamese businesses to national development and international integration. Vietnam Investment Review acts as an information sponsor for the event.
