Vietinbank appointed as service bank for HSP
The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No.2101/QĐ-NHNN on September 8 to appoint the Vietnam Joint-Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank) as the service bank for the USD 65 million loan of the Health Support Project (HSP) for northern provinces of the central region of Vietnam under Loan Agreement No.4688-VN signed between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the World Bank on February 25, 2010.
Under this decision, the General Director of Vietinbank is responsible for providing banking services to the project in line with Decree No.131/2006/ND-CP and the guidelines of the SBV, the Ministry of Finance and the WB.
