Red corn ripe for sales
Baitang Kampuchea Plc sold 160 tonnes of red corn at US$259 per tonne to Vietnamese buyers last month, over half of the 300 tonnes the company purchased for resale.
Eung Kimly, a corn buyer at Baitang Kampuchea, said it was able to supply thousands of tonnes of red corn per year – if buyers could be found.
