Progress of stock market discussed

Official Opening Ceremony of the Lao Stock Exchange is scheduled for October 10, 2010

The objective of the meeting was to wrap up the progress in the implementation of the output of the previous meeting of the Lao Stock and Stock Market Management Committee regarding the registering preparation of the Banque pour le Commerce Exterieur Lao and the Electricite du Laos into the upcoming Lao stock market which is scheduled to open officially on 10 October 2010. The meeting has also discussed a regulation on managing the stock market.

The meeting has called on the Lao Stock and Stock Market Management Committee and other coordinating committees to work with high responsibility and brainstorm on the regulation.
