FBT: Resolution on holding an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting

Ben Tre Forestry and Aquaproduct Import - Export Joint Stock Company (FAQUIMEX) announced a resolution of the Board of Directors as follows:

Article 1: The Board of Directors approved to hold an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting in late September 2010 or early October 2010.

Article 2: The Board of Directors approved to submit the following content to the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting:

* Audited financial report of the first six months of 2010;  

* Adjust the profit target in 2010: Trying to reduce the Company’s loss to a minimum.

* Continue maintaining the Company’s operations in processing and producing;

* Promote the selling of inventories;

* Liquidate ineffective fixed assets;

* Reduce ineffective raising areas;

* Sell the Company’s treasury shares.

Article 3: The Board of Directors approved the resignation of Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang from the BOD Chairman and temporarily appointed Ms. Luu Thi Tuyet Mai – Deputy Chairwoman to the BOD Chairman from September 01, 2010.

Article 4: The Board of Directors approved the resignation of CEO Dang Viet Anh and appointed Ms. Le Quang Trung to the CEO from September 01, 2010.

This resolution was unanimously approved on August 26, 2010.
