TIX: Explanation for business results in Q3/2010

Tan Binh Import - Export Joint Stock Corporation (TANIMEX) has announced explanation for business result in quarter 3/2010 (Fiscal year from Oct.01, 2009) as follows:

- Profit after tax in quarter 3/2010: 18,333,637,686 dongs

- Profit after tax in quarter 3/2009: 21,628,715,177 dongs

- Profit after tax in quarter 3/2010 decreased 17.9% beside quarter 3/2009.

Reasons:

- In quarter 3/2010, some fixed assets were completely depreciated. Therefore, the depreciation expenses decreased and profit increased 3.2 billion dongs (17.45%) beside quarter 3/2009.

- In quarter 3/2009, the company transferred land usage right at Hoc Mon Town and got an income at 6.4 billion dongs (34.91%).
