SMC: The record date for an additional issuance
HOSE announces the record date to issue new shares of SMC Investment Trading Joint Stock Company as follows:
* Stock symbol: SMC
* Stock type: Common stock
* Par value: VND10,000
* Ex-right date: August 27, 2010
(In case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and over on August 27, 2010 & August 30, 2010, sellers will not receive the right)
* Record date: August 31, 2010
* Purpose: To offer new shares to the existing shareholders.
* Exercise ratio: 4:1 (A shareholder owning 04 shares will get 01 right, and owning every 01 right will be entitled to buy 01 new share.)
* The number of shares offered to existing shareholders will be rounded to units. The fractional parts and undistributed shares will be offered to other objects by the Board of Directors at a price not less than the one offered to the existing shareholders.
* For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A owns 173 shares, the calculation will be: (173/4) x 1= 43.25 new shares. Therefore, shareholder A will have the right to buy 43 new shares
* Issue price:VND15,000/share
* Expected issue volume: 3,663,186 shares
* Time to transfer rights: From September 15, 2010 to October 08, 2010
* Time to register and deposit money to buy shares: From September 15, 2010 to October 12, 2010.
* Rights to buy shares are transferred only once.
* The new shares are transferable
