MKP: Explanation for business result in Quarter 2/2010

On July 26, 2010, Mekophar Chemical Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company explained the 16-percent increase in profit after tax of Quarter II/2010 compared to Quarter II/2009:

Although material prices and other expenses have increased, the Company tried to raised revenue of Quarter II/2010 by 37% compared to Quarter II/2009, mainly thanks to:

* Revenue from finished product: up 7%

* Revenue from goods: up 29%

* Revenue from materials and services: up 1%.

Besides, the Company also saved expenses in business operations, so that made profit in Quarter II/2010 increase.
