DAG: Explanation for business result in Q2/2010
Dong A Plastic Group Joint – Stock Company has explained business result in Q2/2010 as follows:
*Integrated profit in Q2/2009: VND2,961,185,882
* Integrated profit in Q2/2010: VND9,113,956,322
* Increasing compared to Q2/2009: VND6,152,770,440, or 207%. It rose 3 times compared to Q2/2009 and 1.8 times compared to Q1/2010.
Reasons:
* Strategic products from 2009 (Seaprofile, industrial polypropylene, uPVC Smartwindows) were consumed well and competitive with imported products. Integrated sales in Q2/2010 exceeded 94% compared to Q1/2010.
* Forecasting high material price, DAG actively stored materials in 2009. Thus, with the stable market, gross profit of the company was higher leading rapid increase of profit in Q2/2010.
