Commerce Minister attends GMS meeting

Minister of Commerce Cham Prasidh left yesterday to attend the Greater Mekong Subregion ministerial meeting in Hanoi, scheduled to begin Friday, the Commerce Minister’s deputy cabinet chief Kong Putheara said yesterday.

The forum will be attended by ministers from the GMS, including Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, along with Asian Development Bank officials.

The ministers are expected to discuss a plan of action to improve transportation and trade links throughout the block, according to a press release.
