GMD: The record date for a new share offering
Gemadept Corporation announces the record date to pay dividend in stock:
* Stock symbol: GMD
* Stock type: Common stock
* Par value: VND10,000
* Ex-right date: July 28, 2010
* (In case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and over on July 28, 2010 and July 29, 2010, sellers will not receive rights)
* Record date: July 30, 2010
* Purpose:
Implementing rights to buy additional shares:
- Issue volume: 32,141,667 shares
- Exercise ratio: 3:2 (A shareholder owning 01 share will receive 01 right, 03 rights will be entitled to buy 2 new shares)
The number of shares offered to existing shareholders will be rounded to units. The fraction shares and the unsold shares (If any) will be sold to other objects with price not less than the offering price for the existing shareholders.
For example: Shareholder Nguyen Van A owns 173 shares, the calculation will be: (173/3) x 2 =115.33 shares. Therefore, shareholder A will have the right to buy 115 new shares.
The new shares are transferable.
- Issue price: VND20,000/share
- Rights to buy shares are transferred only once.
- Time to transfer rights: From August 13, 2010 to September 10, 2010
- Time to register to buy shares: From August 13, 2010 to September 14, 2010
Place of implementation:
- Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: At the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
- Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: At Gemadept Corporation or Viet Capital Securities Joint Stock Company.
