Singapore committed to increase investment in Quang Nam

Singapore’s Ambassador to Vietnam, Simon Wong, Wie Kuen, has pledged to help Singaporean businesses further in Quang Nam Province.

During his meeting on May 18 with the Secretary of Quang Nam provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Duc Hai, Mr. Kuensaid that currently, Singapore has many travel companies which operate successfully and each year it receives almost 15 million visitors. The country will also make it easier for visitors to come to Vietnam.

“There is no direct air route between Singapore and Quang Nam, so we encourage large cruise liners to bring as many as 2,000-3,000 passengers to the central province on each trip.

Mr. Hai expressed his delight at Singapore’s socio-economic progress and his hope that Singapore would invest more effectively in Vietnam in general and in Quang Nam in particular. Quang Nam is willing to create an ideal investment environment for Singaporean businesses to operate in the province.
