First Tra fish farm in Mekong Delta gets Global GAP certificate
The NTACO Joint Stock Company on April 8 received a Global Good Agricultural Practice (Global GAP) certificate for its 30-hectare tra fish farm.
This is the first tra fish farm in the Mekong Delta to have a Global GAP, certificate which is granted only to agriculture or aquaculture producers who reach a high production standard.
Tra fish raised under Global GAP standards can be sold at a higher price and easily meet the exacting requirements of European, US, and Japanese markets.
NTACO General Director Nguyen Tuan Anh says the farm can annually produce about 10,000-20,000 tonnes of Tra fish.
