VTC: Explanation for withdrawal of Certificate of Telecommunication Service Registration

Telecommunications JSC explained the withdrawal of Certificate of Telecommunication service registration as follows:

Upon the business expansion plan, on 5/10/2005, the company got approval of telecommunication service supply issued by Post and Telecommunication Ministry (At present, Ministry of Information and Communications) to provide ISP service. Under the new regulation of Information and Communications Service, all the enterprizes which provide internet service in Ho Chi Minh city have to change Certificate of Telecommunication service registration including VTC. Following that, on 25/9/2009, the company changed the certificate to expand the service to ISP and OSP. Thus, withdrawal of Certificate of Telecommunication service registration has really been a procedure under the regulation of the State.
