Mobile providers offer discounts
Mobile operators are offering discounts to keep their subscribers loyal and attract more people to their networks.
Pre-paid Vinaphone subscribers will get an additional 50 percent value when they buy prepaid cards while users with plans will be able to text for free and have free call time after four minutes up to 10 minutes from March 8 to 10.
"We hope to keep customer numbers stable by running a stream of promotion programmes," said deputy director of Vinaphone Ho Duc Thang.
Vinaphone network attracted 100,000 new subscribers a day as a result of a three-day promotion programme late last month.
Meanwhile, Mobifone has various promotions, including 83 free SMSs between network users on Women's Day, VND1.14 million credit and 360 Voice SMSs for new post-paid subscribers this month, and a VND160,000 account for new pre-paid subscribers costing only VND65,000.
Meanwhile, S-Fone launched Data eCo post-paid package for mobile subscribers with phone numbers beginning with 095, offering monthly subscriptions of VND30,000, with 30MB free internet plus 30 minutes of calls and 30 SMSs to users.
